SDO Santa Rosa City Delegates together with the DepEd Personnel from the Central Office and from DepEd Region II and the Board of Judges.

Science Processes and Practices On-Site Test (S.P.P.O.T.) is a competition that enables learners to apply skills to solve problems that have local , national and global impact. It allows the learners to become problem solvers by addressing social, scientific and environmental issues through the application of 21st century skills.
After bagging the championship in the first ever Science Processes and Practice On-Site Test in the Regional Festival of Talents, with the support of their school head, Jonah N. Salvan, young scientists Crisandro Allen R. Lazo and Ellijah Emmar John B. Pagadora from Sana Rosa Science and Technology High School with their coach Micheal L. Lezondra head to Ilagan City, Isabela for the National Festival of Talents held last March 9 -13, 2020.
In the contest proper, the participants were asked to come up with a project for disaster preparedness specifically for earthquake. Team Santa Rosa was able to come up with a proposed project, Artificial Neural Network (ANN), a software that can be used to do survey to assess if an infrastructure is earthquake ready or if renovation is required. The more assessment done, the ANN’ performance gets better.
After 6 long hours of competition, Team Santa Rosa was announced as the 4th Place winner in the 2020 NFOT in its first ever Science Processes and Practice On-Site Test (S.P.P.O.T.) among the 17 regions that competed.
