The Schools Division of Santa Rosa City in partnership with the City Government of Santa Rosa and Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter continuously implement the Membership Fund with Accident Assistance Benefits (MAAB) for FREE to all students from Kinder to Grade 12 in all public elementary, junior and senior high schools in the division.
The said project started on year 2008, this year, it does not only cover all students but also the teaching and non-teaching personnel in the division. All students were given free classic membership while teaching and non-teaching personnel were given premier bronze membership.
Membership Fund and Accident Assistance Benefits Program cover accident insurance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in the Philippines. Animal bite and dengue cases are also covered as long as there is no declaration of an outbreak.
Since the Division of Santa Rosa City has 100% membership, other services from the Philippine Red Cross such as First Aid and Basic Life Support Training, leadership and youth trainings, lectures on HIV, smoking and drug awareness and handwashing drills will be given for free.
This program was made possible through the efforts of the Schools Division Office, City Government of Santa Rosa through Mayor Dan S. Fernandez, Vice Mayor Arnold B. Arcillas and 1st District Representative Arlene B. Arcillas.
