Santa Rosa City Holds the First Division Trade Fair
“Nakakataba ng puso na makita ang mga batang sinanay ng kanilang mga guro ay maari ng magkatrabaho, magnegosyo at makapag serbisyo gamit ang mga kasanayang natutunan “ said Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, ASDS of Santa Rosa City in her inspirational message during the opening program of the First Division Trade Fair with the theme “ Serbisyo at Produkto aming Ipinagmamalaki” on December 15, 2017 at Aplaya National High School.
The project was an initiative of the Education Program Supervisor in TLE/TVL Dr. Edwina C. Nabo supported by the Schools Division Superintendent Mam Helen A. Ramos that aims to realize the following objectives: 1) display the products made by students in EPP and TLE; 2) showcase the services that can be offer by the junior and senior high school students; and 3) recognize the partner industries in the immersion of senior high school students.
Students were able to demonstrate their skills in hairdressing, hair cutting, wellness massage, foot spa, manicure, pedicure, baking, dressmaking, electrical installation, electronics servicing, computer programming, welding, food preservation, cookery, and plant marcoting. They manifested their entrepreneurial skills through selling the products such as throw pillow, hair pin, sandwiches, pastillas, pickled vegetables (atchara) , salted eggs, bagoong, yema candies, coconut oil, fried squash balls, kamote tops juice, and with their vegetables harvested from their gulayan sa paaralan.
Partner industries were given recognition for their strong support in the immersion program of senior high school students in the Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) track.
Visitors and guest appreciate the services offered by the students with minimal fees and the food stuff they prepared. They are looking forward that this must be a continuous activity of the SDO of Santa Rosa City.
